a quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The word for sentences which contain every letter of the alphabet is pangrams. So far, no good anagram for the alphabet itself seems to have been found.
I wonder what a good pangram for the Norwegian alphabet would be?
The Danish language has this one:
"Quizdeltagerne spiste jordbær med fløde, mens cirkusklovnen Walther spillede på xylofon."
In Hebrew, Deuteronomy 4:34 is a pangram. It says
34 Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?
And incidentally, try typing =rand() into Word. You should get some sort of pangram.
This is all courtesy of Wikipedia, btw.
