I wish. Approval ratings and election ratings aren't comparable - the former factor in a lot of respondents who wouldn't necessarily have chosen Kerry, let alone voted at all.
Party pooper. Yes, yes, I know. But look: BLUE STATES. SHINY THING! Oooh.
It's a perfectly cromulent map.
If nothing else, the chances of a Democratic victory in 2008 seem to have been markedly embiggened.
