Takk, takk, begge to. Ingmar Bergman og Harry Dean Stanton er da ikke så gale, det.

Annabel: adress has been sent to an email inbox near you. Might want to check the junk mail filter.

Gratz d00d! Jeg på min side deler bursdag med Marshall McLuhan, Ernest Hemingway og Norman Jewison. Samt Josh Hartnett, men det snakker vi ikke så høyt om.

I thought Newton's birthday was Christmas?

Also, the requisite age for President is 35. 25 for the House of Representatives and 30 for the Senate. Still, when the current president was your age, he was cheerleading, doing drugs, and getting arrested. So he was probably having more fun, but at least you seem more responsible.

Happy birthday all the same!

You're totally right, Ginny. I've been spreading misinformation. The requisite age for the president is 35. So I have to wait another ten years. Aw, shucks. I guess I can use the time to become a citizen. Of course, by then the Arnold for Prezident campaign will have changed that pesky law saying that you have to have been a natural-born citizen, and my rise to power will be immediate.

Regarding Sir Isaac Newton, the December 25th date is subterfuge. It is in the old style Julian calendar. They probably teach it to junior high school students because it's easier to remember. In the Gregorian style calendar, he was born on January 4th.

Here's a mind-boggling little coincidence for you: William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes - arguably the most influential writers ever in their genres of choice - died on the exact same date (April 23rd 1616). But they died ten days apart. Spain had introduced Gregorian calendar and Britain still used the Julian style. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

You guys! Eddie Vedder seems to be Wikipedia's most famous person with the same birthday as me. What happened to Queen Silvia of Sweden? I always send my secret regards to her on the 23rd of December. And Ginny, how's your course getting along? If you need any tutoring, do not hesitate to ask! We are dying to spread our important minority language out to new communities.
